Hungry is a physical sensation of the urgent need for food or any nutrient to the human body. When a person is hungry, his or her stomach may feel empty. Further, a person may get headaches, tired, irritation, stomach pains, vomiting, weakness, and others. There are several reasons for excessive hunger.
Not taking enough protein in daily diet: Protein is the essential ingredient present in the human body. Protein helps in reducing or lowering hunger sensation. Not Sleeping Enough: Adequate sleep is essential for human body. Proper sleep is required for function of brain and other functions of human body. According to a recent study, 15 participants were sleep-deprived for one night. Out of which nearly14 percent people took larger portion sizes food intake compared with a group that slept for approximately eight hours.
Too much consumption of carbohydrate: Lots of consumption of carbs, may increase blood sugar level. The carbohydrate intake can be replaced with other healthier options such as whole foods whole grains, and others. Not Drinking Enough Water: Water is an important constituent of the human body. Higher intake of water has many health benefits as well as helps in maintaining healthy digestive system. Diet Lacking Fiber: Consuming lots of fiber-rich foods aids to keep hunger under control in human beings. In addition, certain medications and several types of illnesses may result in hunger. These include hypoglycemia such as type 2 diabetes diseases, hypertension, kidney failure, and others.
